The History of Metalist International, Inc. begins back in the early 1960's when Ed Reeser, and Connie Reeser first opened a welding business, operated right from their own back yard. The company was then known as National Welding. Mr. & Mrs. Reeser, in response to requests received from customers for a more expansive scope of repair work on forging & stamping equipment, expanded, moved operations, and National Machine Repair was born. This name change reflected the broader scope of work being offered. Their on-going vision has been to develop and maintain a unique facility for the repair and rebuild of forging and stamping equipment as well as expanding sales lines in order to secure a premiere position in the industry and to grow and change with the times. Because of changing times, and a growing need to understand the importance of a global market, in the early 1980’s, National Machine Repair became known as Metalist International, Inc. and broadened its operational focus to include both domestic as well as international markets. The experience of our President, Ed Reeser, along with his relentless search for innovations, a strong management team, and an experienced engineering staff, has won Metalist International, Inc. its reputation as a forerunner in metal forming equipment repair and re-manufacturing.

While Metalist International continues to do the bulk of its business domestically, we have done business in many countries, and on many continents including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, England, Korea, and Germany, and we continue to add new countries to that list. We have been able to create a blend of old and new strategies tailored to maintain a competitive edge in an ever-changing global market. We offer complete press rebuilds, QDC’s, press overload protection, emergency service repair, in-stock perishable parts, along with ample capabilities to do repair work either in your plant or ours.

QUALITY STANDARDS:
We have gone through a series of changes throughout the years but one thing never changed: our commitment to quality. ISO 9000 did not exist when we established our own quality control systems. Today, our standards are higher and more developed than even those of the ISO mandates. We return parts to OEM standards in order to provide our customers with the best return on their investment. We are committed to our customers, the industry, and our goal of meeting tomorrow’s metal forming needs. Our scope of work has been designed to be flexible enough to accommodate and integrate technological innovations. We have been the OEM representative for several companies including Barrenberg, BKS, Wilkins & Mitchell, and Wade. We believe in doing things right the first time. If there is ever a complaint, we will handle it in a way to ensure the customer's satisfaction. We guarantee it.
